Satisfaction Policy
Sew Easi Alteration & Tailoring Services ( below state Sew Easi ) will always provide our customers with the best quality
service. We will utilize our combined years of experience to give your articles the quality services you require. We reserve the
right to refuse altering any item that may need special handling and thus all articles will only proceed with your permission.
Even with special care, some articles have limited serviceability. If an article is damaged due to an error on our part, The
original valid alteration order ( Yellow Copy ) MUST be used to establish the quality and cost of the item, the replacement
value will be up to maximum 3 times of the alteration cost but not exceeding S$100 except extra declaration applied and the
liability is on proportion to the deposit placed for partial payment. So all guarantees above are void when neither deposit nor
payment is given and stated on the alteration order.
Quality Assurance
Sew Easi gives warranty for the workmanship of our alteration and tailoring services. If you are unsatisfied with the
workmanship of our alteration and tailoring services, simply contact our outlet within 24 hours from the date of collection, and
we will adjust it free of charge. Liability will be limited to those items actually received for servicing and will extend only to
the article that has been handled.
Article Damage Policy
Our alteration and tailoring exercises utmost care in processing your article. However, we cannot assume responsibilities for
inherent weaknesses or defects in materials that are not visibly apparent prior to processing. Therefore we cannot guarantee
against damage to weak and tender fabrics. All the measurements taken and suggestion given are for customer reference
only, Sew Easi assume to alter the item under customer's consent, and changes in design of the item inherent after alteration
are not guaranteed.
Sew Easi liability with respect to any damage items shall not exceed our maximum replacement cost and such claim shall not
exceed S$100 or whichever is lower for any item, unless the value is declared and noted on ours service invoice. Any item
value declared by the customer exceeds S$100, an additional 100% charge will be imposed per S$100 to the normal rate
charged for the service item.
Payer of the adjustment may acquire ownership of the claimed article, and therefore Sew Easi reserve the right to retain the
damaged articles whether is partially or completely damaged upon full settlement of claim
All claims must be notified and made within 24 hours of collection date and original valid alteration order ( Yellow Copy )
MUST be presented for claiming. When the customer is unhappy with the suggested settlement, he/she can contact the
Consumers Association of Singapore, and decide either to carry the problem on to small claims court or other legal avenues.
Article Loss Policy
Lost article may occur during alteration process although high attention has been taken.
• SOLUTION : Discuss the situation with Sew Easi. Your original valid alteration order ( Yellow Copy ) verifies the article
presented for alteration and not collected. We should make an adjustment based on the article’s life expectancy, age or
condition, and replacement cost, and Sew Easi liability with respect to any lost item shall not exceeded our maximum
replacement cost and such claim shall not exceed S$I00 whichever is lower for any item, unless the value is declared and
noted on service invoice. Any item exceeds S$100, the rate charged for alteration and tailoring services of the item will be
doubled per S$100 of the value declared by the customer.
• All claims must be made within 24 hours of date of collection and original alteration order (Yellow Copy) MUST be presented.
Express Service
Express Service is available for alteration in pant/skirt length services only. An additional 50% surcharge on the order amount
will apply to other services.
Normal processing time for alteration is two to three working days. Because "Alteration" is a handcraft service and our
workmanship is highly concerned, we may not be able to predict our processing schedule; hence we are not liable for any
loss arising from our delay in processing the order.
Sew Easi reserves the right to refuse service to any customer, and articles that are not suitable for alteration will be returned.
Redemption of Item
All articles MUST be redeemed within one month from the collection date. Due item will keep in the outlet without any
guarantee stated above and will be kept all at customer's own risk for another one month.
Sew Easi reserves the right to dispose the article in any means and the customer is therefore cannot claim Sew Easi for any
compensation after the redemption period.
